Your experience with an Independent Children’s Lawyer (ICL): Survey

Independent Children’s Lawyers (ICLs) are assigned by the Courts to specifically and solely represent the best interests and rights of the children in the midst of a child custody or child contact dispute.

This may be the logic, however a lot of questions have been raised as to the quality of representation, the effectiveness of that representation, and knowledge and skill of the legal practitioners assigned, and the independence of these legal practitioners from ideologies that may compromise their effectiveness.

These concerns have been so significant the Australian government has recently assigned the Australian Institute of Family Studies to research into how ICLs could be better and more effectively utilised within the Court process.

Here we survey parents who have gone through the child custody dispute process and were assigned an ICL, to rate their experience.

What has been your experience with Independent Children’s Lawyer?

  2. ICL’s are not independent but the second support solicitor to the mothers allegations I have not yet met a male ICL and knoe here in Darwin all of the ICL’s belong to the Women Solicitors Organisation viz the feminists network gender war against fathers.
Whild assisting fathers I have come up against two and when I fronted them about the mothers falseness and we did not buckle and put that into affidavits they moderated and our argument stood up in court
Again when fathers trade of points thinking it will persuade feminists it becomed the giving away his best cards.

My barrister friend who only lost abut 20 cases of his 1200 cases crosseamined ICL’s and made them reveal their dishonesty. Don’t rely upon “I am a good father” go ahead and attacke the LEGAL AND FACTS FLAWS of the ICL and mothers case and flaws in it. And stop the ‘moral’ pleadings of you being a good paret or she being a bad parent.

The moral of the story is not to go into cour and not cross examine an ICL. Cross examination is a skill so if you are a litigant in person hire a solicitor for the day for the job

    1. LNP are either just stupid or their getting something out of the feminists now, feminists still seem to be fully funded, seems they sold us out well and truly, ALP will be back in soon enough.
