The Journal of Family Studies is a peer reviewed international journal under the Editorship of Adjunct Professor Lawrie Moloney, School of Public Health, LaTrobe University; Australian Institute of Family Studies; and co-director of Children in Focus. The focus of the Journal of Family Studies is on the wellbeing of children in families in the process of change.
The primary purpose of the Journal of Family Studies is to bring together the best research and practices available to support children and families though periods of transition, especially when those periods are associated with high levels of conflict. Papers that focus on the impact of change and transitional situations on children, either directly or via the impact on parents or close family members, dispute resolution and the broad social issues reflected in family law are encouraged.
